In India, Holi is not just a festival. It is a feeling. It is the moment the air changes, when winter loosens its grip, when strangers become friends, when the world decides, all at once, to be joyful. Here in Canada, March carries that same quiet promise, the first signs of spring breaking through, the cold finally letting go.

At Pudina Kitchen, we have always believed that food is the most honest way to tell a story. This March, we are telling the story of Holi, not through powder and paint, but through the language we know best. The plate, the food.

About the Morning:

Kesari, A Holi Affair is a one-morning-only Indian fusion brunch where every course is a colour, every flavour carries a memory, and the table is dressed in the full, vivid palette of spring. This is not a traditional Holi celebration — it is our interpretation of it. The boldness, the warmth, the joy of the festival, expressed entirely through food and the people around the table.

Expect dishes that are vibrant, unexpected, and deeply intentional. Each course will be introduced with the story and the colour that inspired it.

The Menu:

We'll be serving a five-course brunch that paints the full palette of Holi:

• First appetizer – A bright, fresh opening that captures the first colour of spring
• Second appetizer – Bold, layered, and deeply rooted in Indian flavour
• First main course – A celebration dish, rich with the warmth of the festival
• Second main course – A lighter, seasonal counterpart that speaks to spring
• Dessert – Sweet, nostalgic, and finished in the colour of Kesari

Drinks:

This is an alcohol-free morning. Complementary beverages will be served throughout the meal, thoughtfully paired to complement the brunch.
